Online Payment

New families will be able to utilize the LunchTime Portal around August. Communication will be sent out at that time. If you are a new family or only have a child participating in School’s Out Events, please use the Converge Payment Portal, as no student ID is needed. Alternatively, checks (made payable to NKEC) can be mailed or dropped off in the Main Office.

If you have used LunchTime to add funds to your lunch accounts, you may use the same website and login information.
If you don't have a LunchTime account, please follow the steps below to create your account.

• Create your account - login and password.
• Select the zip code of the school – 60140; please do not enter your home’s zip code.
• Select the correct school for your child – Charter School or Preschool.
• Add your student(s) by entering their legal name, and the student ID from PowerSchool

• In LunchTime, click on the “Items, Fees & Invoices” tab at the top, then select items to add to your Cart.
• Once all the items are selected, click on “View Cart” in the top left corner to view a summary of all the items, and proceed forward with online payment.

When to call the Business Office:

• Set up a payment plan
• Redeem an account credit
• Check account balance

The Business Office will only accept phone or drop-in payments using a credit card for the above situations. Payments via check will continue to be accepted.
